There is no introduction to the Cannes film festival as we all are familiar with this big festival. Awarding the best talent around the world, Cannes has always been a preferred place for filmmakers as well as movie lovers. The festival which is going to be held from 17th — 28th May will mark its 75th year this year. Here’s a brief look at the Cannes film festival 2022.

Cannes film festival 2022 has a lot of surprises. On one side, it will screen Tom Cruise’s Tom Gun: Maveric, the sequel to the 1986 Top Gun and Buzz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic. On the other hand, the festival will see an in-person event with the glamorous appearance of the stars. This is why excitement is high for the audiences.

The submission for the Cannes film festival 2022 has already been closed on 18th March. There are a bunch of films growing expectations higher for the viewers. While Tom Cruise is the special attraction of the event and will get a special attribute of his career in the film industry, the best movies are on the queue in this year’s competition. Let’s look at some of those movies which are on the selection list.

Though the lineup of films or the official selection will be scheduled to be released on the 14th of April, we can’t stop our excitement.
